Lottie Moon
Lottie Moon was appointed a missionary to China July 7, 1873. She gave her life and her love to the Chinese people in an effort to share Christ with them. She died December 24, 1912, but her legacy lives on. Her influence led to the establishment of the Women's Missionary Union and inspired other missions pioneers to join her on the field. She launched the discussion leading to the offering that bears her name today--Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions.
