Welcome to Children’s Church!  Our mission here at Children’s Church is to bring the Word of God Alive!  We understand that children have varied learning styles so we try to reach each learning style through fun, imaginative and interactive lessons that engage many age groups.  Typically children attending are from four years old through second grade.  However, we take into consideration that children develop at different rates and thus have different needs.  We basically have an open door feel, allowing children and their parents to decide where Gods Word is most appropriate for the individual.

2011 Finds LBC Children's Church discovering God's Truths with the help of Zany and Fun "Mystery Guests" as we play our own version of "What's My Line" Each week our children ask probing questions to a "mystery guest" trying to uncover their zany identity. What could a X-Games competitor teach us about submitting to Christ? Who at an archeological site might use a Bible to prove truths? Where does a trash collector find truth in garbage? When does a turkey rancher discover that we are in need of a savior? These questions and many others will be addressed as we play "What's My Line". Everyone is invited to join in on the fun!  We start Children’s Church at the same time as adult worship. Usually we begin with the children checking in; we take time for meet and greet, prayer requests and prayer before we begin.  Then, depending on our unit we have our large group lesson, after the lesson we break off into smaller groups for a snack, activity and fellowship.  Prior to the end of service we all gather for a wrap-up time with our large group.
